I just want to say thank you to Alex for creating WP. It was through WP I met so many people who go through the same issues I do, the same struggles, and it was how I found out that I was not alone when I thought I was. I'm proud of being an Aspie, I'm proud of who I am and I'm proud to be a member of WP. It has been some of the best therapy for me, and it's a place where I feel I can fit in. I've had a few issues with other members, but for the most part I think that WP is great.

One thread that I really loved was the videos thread. Going through the whole thread I've learned many things about other people who posted videos. It gave such a good insight on other people with the same struggles and gifts as me. They struggle in the same way I do, and I never felt alone. It was interesting to see other people's interests and passions, being as passionate in their interests as I am in mine.

And also a thank you to all the people I've met here on WP that have enriched my life, the new friends I've made and personal relationships I've created.

I totally agree. I have learned more here than anywhere else about what it is like for my son and how to help him. Mostly, I have gotten an understanding and a deep appreciation for the value of this population, and when I speak of autism awareness, I speak of what wonderful things that can come from knowing people that live with it and how those who are "different" can benefit the world.

I hope Alex knows how life changing this website has been for so many people. 8)

It's great you have fitted in and made friends. I sure haven't at all, but oh well, I still come on.

I agree strongly.

I have never related to so many people. And they have helped me out with so many of my problems that relate to my AS. (SammichEater in particular)

Someone actually thinks I'm helpful? I never thought I would read that before.

I suppose this only serves as further proof that this website is awesome.

I totally agree with this!! Finding this website was a blessing! I love that I finally found a site where people don`t make fun of me and write mean things to me! I finally found a place where I can fit in and relate to people and they can relate to me! Thanks, Alex!! :D
