Hi all!

Gee hope I'm not considered an old fart because it seems like mostly young 'uns on here. I'm 37 yr old, living in Flagstaff, AZ though grew up in east TN. I'm interested in the outdoors, mostly fishing, then some hiking and rock hounding. Liked to garden till I moved to Arizona and even here in the mountains its hard to grow anything. I have a calico cat that is 13 yrs old (approx because she is adopted from shelter so I'm not quite sure) and also have two tropical aquariums. I am interested in the rarer catfishes species. Also play guitar & bass, or used to before I had wrist surgery and that kinda ruined my playing ability. I have been tinkering at learning bluegrass fiddle because I love Alison Krauss's music, but not very good at it.

My fave shows are LOST and John Loche is my man even though I'm lesbian, lol also adore Cosmo Kramer. (think its the hair thing) Also like X-Files because Sculley's hot and intelligent and Fox is so cool. Was an original fan of The Nowhere Man which is now being rebroadcast under the title First Wave. Also like Northern Exposure and MASH I think because I wished I could live in a place where everyone managed to be friends and appreciate each other.

So that's a little about me if anyone is interested PM me.

Angela

I don't think they appreciated Frank Burns or Charles Winchester. I have spent time in East Tennessee. Beautiful place.

Welcome aboard.

I think they appreciated Charles because he was a familiar irritant. Everyone seemed to enjoy bickering with him, even Margaret and a couple episodes they were actually jovial with him.

I don't know. I thought Margaret was pretty jovial with Frank. Before, during, and after her marriage.

Hi

You're not too old 'cos I'm 47! Male named Ian from Johnstone
Scotland UK
I've only just discovered about Aspergers and I fitted the profile.
I like Alison Krauss too.Was in a music store one day and liked the music they were playing in the background.I had to ask the staff who
it was and that's how I became aware of Alison + her band
Look forward to contributing to the wrongplanet community

regards
:)

Hey Pluto can you believe I saw, or at least think I saw, Alison perform when she was a kid at a Bluegrass festival. If I'd only known then that I would end up being a fan. I don't have all her cds yet; she has so many. Have you heard the songs she wrote for the movie "Oh Brother How Art Thou"? I love that goofy movie.

Devonmike I'd love to talk LOST and theories if you want to PM. I've been wanting to discuss LOST and also Harry Potter OotP & HBP with someone.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Its also good to know I'm not the only over 30 person on here. (quickly approaching 40)

50 year old guy, here.
And I love Alison Krauss. I've seen her and Union Station at 3 different festivals. I also listen to some jazz and her brother Viktor has some interesting, bordering on moody Pink Floydian music, too. Alison has been on a couple of movie soundtracks and I saw her on an old Sesame Street a few weeks ago. She's awesome!

I seem to remember someone else on this board from Flagstaff, but I could have it wrong, too. Hang in there, you might have a neighbor.

Welcome.

Reminds me of the line from Monty Python and the Holy Grail: "I'm not old, I'm 37!"

DirtDawg - Are you talking about Waterdogs being in Flag or is there someone else? We've already been writing and may meet up for coffee or something.

Emmajean- Are you talking about Anna Lucia on the show? I can't keep up with all the actors names on the show. My mind's not what it used to be. Which reminds me I need to see if the new LOST magazine ever came out. I didn't think there were that many fans because never hear it discussed at work for instance. But I wore a LOST shirt in town and everybody kept looking or commenting. Course I thought they were all staring at my chest at first and it angered me. Then I realized ppl were interested because the shirts aren't widely available so no one had seen one before that featured the whole cast.
