Would anyone like to hear a verbose, one sided speech about a narrow topic? I didn't think so. I at least have enough empathy not to put you through that. Instead I'll introduce myself. My name is Brenna. I'm a 19 year old part-time college student from Des Moines, Iowa. I came accross a link to this website, while reading through the Wikipedia page on Asperger's Syndrome. The only reason I was reading this in the first place was because I am doing a research paper on it for my psychology class. I am an Aspie, doing a REPORT on MY diagnosis. You can imagine how well thats going. (btw, I heard the term "Aspie" for the first time minutes ago, in the same paragraph I found the link to this website. I haven't decided yet whether it's stupid or hallarious or both.) Anyway, I didn't know there was a specific website out here like this, and I'm kind of excited to see it. I hope someone talks to me. I'm pretty good at talking online. (no gestures, inflection, or eye-contact involved) All the forums look really cool, and the members seem nice and supportive. I am in a relationship, but this would have been a great thing to know about in high school, I would have been 4 times more likely to find a boyfriend on here than myspace! Well, now that I'm done making fun of myself and everybody else here (I mean it all in good fun) I am really looking forward to what the other members have to say. Thanks so much everbody, for being you!
