Hi. I'm new to the forum

Hi. I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome when I was 35, about 5 years ago. I haven't really done anything to get help with AS, and I haven't met anyone else with AS in person. So I'm not even completely sure how to tell if another person has AS, or which of my traits are AS and which are just my unique traits.

I'm looking forward to getting to chat with other aspie's. Hopefully I'll have more in common with people here than with the average person.

Hi Smitty,

I am an adult Aspie who was diagnosed at age 49. I haven't met any other adult Aspies in person either. My son, who is 11 years old, is also an Aspie, so I can't say I haven't met any other Aspies. ;)
