Welcome to WP Name121314!

At first (like other students) I got bullied by the elders before they left me alone. Then, I was more or less bullied because I was different.

After that verbal abuse turned into psychological mind-games and petty bitching and remarks behind my back.

Rejection used to 'grind my gears' and I would get so stressed about it.

In the end, Depression developed through the trials and tribulations of School. But I've more or less come out the other side wiser. :)

Debateable whether you'd call it bullying, but I was constantly faced with hostility.
-And yes, it did upset me. I almost committed suicide over that amongst other reasons.

Oh yes. Mostly in elementary and middle school though. I figured out in high school that if I made myself look scary, then people wouldn't mess with me. So I dressed in black and chains and talked about scary things and they left me alone, at least to my face. And when they were mean I got a little scarier. It's funny because I was, and still am a pacifist. I still love my "bad ass" clothes but I wear colors now, and flowers.

I did not. Or maybe someone tried, and I just did not realise it was bullying. People would do strange things, and I would just say something like: "That was a strange thing to do."

Someone said that they were scared of me, because of my penetrating stare that made them feel I knew everything about them.

I was verbally bullied in high school and it upset me very much. Your high school years are supposed to be the best years of your life. Yeah, right!

Welcome :)

I got bullied a bit when I was in middle school, by some boys who had the same bus stop as me, so the start of my day was always pretty terrible. By high school, I was just ignored. I kept to myself, no one really talked to me, so I just kept my head down until I could get through it. I had a few people I was able to talk to, and I luckily found two very good friends, which helped tremendously - one of them, I still talk to all the time, and it's been 8 years since graduation. Believe me, finding at least one person who understands you and is a friend to you, makes all the difference in the world. It did for me, anyway.

Thats really unfair...

I was bullied soo much in elementary and middle school. I eventually changed schools for a year, and that really helped. High school I was that loner in the corner, but no one ever bothered me.

Yes, I was bullied. It was worst when I was young - the nuns at my kindergarten locked me in a dark cupboard, the kids at primary school stoned me. Things like that.

Fortunately I changed schools every few years and managed new starts. It's easier to carry off wierd when you're a newcomer. And, of course, the work was easy.

I took to carrying a snake in my pocket when I was twelve. Between that, and the (clear plastic) bag of cow eyes, I didn't get bullied that much any more. Oh, yes, and the cap bombs, the ammonium nitrate, ...

i barely got bullied in highschool because it was a girls' school. i got bullied just walking down the street, but it didnt happen often. i got a job in mcdonald and burger king and these kind of jobs when i was in my twenties and got bullied so bad i carried a knife in my pocket. i'm a female and small. i was sexually harrassed, once by a male boss who kicked my rear end and by the other workers, one who blew up because i refused to sleep with him, and many others. i got threatened so many times if i had a dollar for every threat and every time i felt in danger, like when the other workers locked me in the restaurant because the boss told them, i would be very rich.
i took kickboxing and hammared the punching bag so hard the windows rattled. had to drop out after a year because of aspie stomach aches. which is a shame because i would love to learn krav maga. i was picked on by some guys up to a point that i took the knife out and held it to someone's throat. him and the others backed off.
i'm a peaceful person and did what i did in self defense and hoped you won't judge me for it.

No. Once they made jokes about the role I played in a school musical but that was really a bit gay xD
But in fact I'm ashamed, I was it who always laughed about others and always talking sarcastic about them, never realizing that they had problems with that. I didn't want to be unfriendly and hurting but especially in my younger years I really should have treatened others a bit more politely, evev if I didn't respect them. I even hurt some lovely girls without knowing it, I realized years after that when I made my first thoughts about girls (very late, I was about fourteen or fifteen), that they obviously where in love with me.
I hope I'm not unknowingly a hypocrit when I say that I turned into a good person.

Are aspergians usually really meant to get discriminated more often than others? What's wrong with them?
