Hi all, I have been lurking around here for about a month now, and have now decided to join.

I'm a bit nervous because unlike most aspies I am quite confident in person (my social skills are ok-ish,) but I don't really know how to conduct myself in an environment like this because I have never done any sort of social networking of any sort. (I am not on facebook or twitter or anything like that.)

But I really want to interact with other people with my condition and feel that this is an ideal place to do this.

Welcome friend!! I'm sure you'll be fine. The threads are usually really fun. You're not missing anything on Facebook or Twitter BTW. I like WP way more, because people discuss deeper subjects than what they had for lunch, or who they want to beat up :roll: ! !

don't be nervous, I'm sure you get used to Wrong Planet soon. Just comment on some posts. Maybe you find some people you can relate to and build up a friendship. I agree with gnatterfly that the topics here are deeper and much more interesting, you will find a lot of information here.
