Hi everyone,

I've recently been diagnosed with aspergers and ADD after 32 years of trying to tell the doctors there was something not quite right. I'm still trying to get my head around it all, its as though i've finally been given the manual to how this damn body and mind works lol. Can anyone recommend any good Aspie and relationships books as my partner is an NT and although he tries really hard to understand why i do things differently, i need help to explain things to him (hypersensitivity especially).

sarah :)

Welcome to WrongPlanet, Sarah!

I wouldn't be able to recommend anything myself, but I'm sure others could.
Hope you enjoy your stay here! :)

Hi, Welcome.

I don't know about specifically on AS and relationships. But I found Aspergirls by Rudy Simone very useful in describing Aspie traits in women and girls.

Not really, as different people with Asperger's process things very differently from one another. You can only be given guidelines but often you will have to see what does and does not work for you, not anyone else.

Welcome to WP anyway, sarah-kay. :)
