Hi. You may know me as HG Revolution from the Toonzone forums. I'm a 13-year-old aspie with strong interests in animation, sci-fi writing, and politics. Life is confusing and at times downright painful, but I think I've conquered a lot of issues I've had in the past and probably am pretty lucky for someone of my age on the spectrum. The fact I've known about the fact I have AS since I was 8 was probably helpful in getting to understand myself. I want to be an animator (Richard Williams, the genius behind Who Framed Roger Rabbit? is my hero). One of my ideas for a cartoon I've been publishing as a webcomic but I'm currently taking a break from it given that nobody seems to be reading it (so go to http://lincolnjohnsonfiles.blogspot.com and READ IT AND REPLY, DAMNIT!). Lately I've been pondering a lot about religion, gender, and how I could make a difference in the world (if anyone else here lives in Needham, MA, please tell me about any stupid town laws I could protest). I hope I make a lot of friends here!

welcome aboard. I didn't understand AS myself until I was 15 but was still trying to understand it when I was 16. I knew I had aspergers from the diagnoses but didn't even know what it was until I asked my mother if I had more AS what would I be like and she went to the filing cabinet and pulled out a bunch of printed out pages from the internet on autism and aspergers. I read it and saw how mine mild was but I didn't even realize I had more than I realizd thanks to my NT shrink of what he pointd out to me. So I disagree that I have very little. Mine's from mild to moderate but very mild when things are going smoothly for me in NT situations but it gets bad when I'm stressed. Sometiems I don't have it at all.
