Hello Planet! I'm John, new on the forum, nice to meet you all.

I'm self-diagnosed Asperger's; have known I was 'asbergersee' for years, finally worked out how exactly when working with ASD pre-shcool children (whom it turns out I get on with like a house on fire). I suspect one of the reason I went undiagnosed for years is that I was statemented dyslexic at 9yo, and it was just easier on everyone's account to go 'atypical dyslexic => implement support' when I did something 'special', rather than to go 'possible Asperger's => ed-psych assessment => another assessment (repeat) => you get the picture'.

I found wrongplanet completely by accident a while back, and have been lurking around for a while (read: procrastinating), finally decided to join up this evening.
