I'm SonicRainbooms and new to the forum. To start off, I consider myself "neruo-atypical." I exhibited aspie-like behavior as a young child and some of it has stuck with me now, but the symptoms are so slight it doesn't technically fit. I do have quite a bit of background knowledge with AS. I'm academically gifted especially in language arts, and I have heard many aspie-like behaviors can be shown by kids like us. After leaving my gifted school and going into mainstream education I definitely don't fit with many of my peers and I'm kinda socially awkward. I need to be more assertive and less logical, as I put it. I stick out.

I'm a gymnast, I run track during the season at school, and in my free time I'm always on the computer feeding whatever current obsession strikes me at the moment. Right now it's ponies. Brohoofs to the fans that might be on the board! (My favorites are Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash.) I know this isn't really a place to discuss ponies and whatnot, but you know how you can get about sharing whatever knowledge you might have to anyone around you. I'm really restraining myself right now!

This is getting quite long and I feel the need to wrap this post up. It will be nice to meet you guys on here!
