Hi, I'm new!

Found this forum yesterday and decided to join. I have an almost 5 year daughter who was diagnosed with Autism in Dec 2010. By March, she was enrolled in an ECSE (early childhood special education) preschool in our public school district and we've seen great results so far as far as her language development. School starts back up next week and I'm excited to see what this year will bring.

Anyway, I'm happy I found a place to hopefully help me understand her better and to get some advice on some of her behavior issues.

Welcome! I think it's great that so many parents of AS and other ASD kids have so many resources and people like you are taking a proactive approach. I wish I had known about all of this sooner! I'm sure you'll do a great job with your daughter :)
