New Aspie here, well actually I'm not really new as you can tell by my birthdate but I'm a new member nonetheless. The name's Robin but you can call me whatever you want since the Internet is a place for freedom of speech which I hold respect for. It's also one of the reasons I spent half of my life here. Anyways I'm still not sure if I have Asperger's or not, but if I don't, I'm pretty damned close. That's all I have to say for now, so I'm pretty much stuck now. Might as well break the ice with a YMBAAI-joke (or true story in my case):

You might be an Aspie when you're in class, the teacher just showed the entire class a slide-show of the way children in Africa spend their lives fighting hunger, and you yell exactly how many days there are left until the next expensive gaming console will launch five minutes later.
I don't know whether these jokes are allowed in this thread or not, I'll get to memorizing every rule in about ten minutes or so when I'm done trying to get the Desktop Effects running in Ubuntu 10.10 in VirtualBox (guess what my obession is? )

Is there a way to know for certain? Without the help of a diagnosis? I mean I'm going to a psychiatrist one of these days but I don't want to walk in there and make a fool out of myself...
