Hey, I'm a newbie. Relative who is self-diagnosed suggested I look into this. Totally surprised to find it almost all fit me to a T. Or any other letter you like. So strange that all these years have gone by with me just feeling weird and lonely. Glad this place exists.

Hee hee, s and p are good letters, too. Were you happy about finding out at first? Did you ever suspect?

Suspected is tough to quantify... I knew I was different. I didn't really know how or why. I never really suspected an ASD, and even all the psychoanalysts I went to when I was a kid didn't seem to figure it out either.

I was totally ecstatic to find out though, and it gives me some more structure on how to use my Aspie abilites better and improve my social, er, issues.

took tests thinking they would show an inclination towards the Autistic Spectrum
