I also believe President Bush intentionally let New Orleans' levees fall into disrepair to wipe out that city's black, Democratic voters.

werbert: no. the levees were in the hands of local councils which spent their money for upkeeping the dikes on parties instead of repairs. the local politicans there couldn't tell a foot of dirt from a mile of ocean.

George Bush was behind the war in Lebanon to distract Americans from the Iraqi quagmire.

I subscribe to the theory that, if there is a probem in this world, Bush or a secret group of shadowy Republicans in a smoky room are behind it.

Also, Britney Spears is a plot to separate morons from their money and to raise Kevin Federline to undeserved stardom.

Come to think of it, most everything in Hollywood is a plot to separate fools from their money and raise idiots to undeserved stardom.

The titanics sister ship (near identical) was seriously damaged after collision with a military ship. Conspiracists claim they switched the names over and scuppered the sister ship. This is apparently a very common type of insurance fraud in the boat world. The motive was definately there.

The plan was not to hit an iceberg, but to have some sort of controlled failure further up, where a rescue boat was waiting nearby. The boat that actually did come to the rescue was empty (unheard of for a transatlantic crossing in those competetive days) but had lots of empty boats, wooly jumpers, food rations etc.

Theres more to it than that, but thats all i can remember.

The left-right paradign is itself a conspiracy theory.

After having google the left-right paradigm conspiracy theory, I now realize I already believe in some of it.

I enjoy conspiracy theories without believing in them.

Like, one I found recently had to do with the Nephilim (of the bible) being a race of angel-human hybrids who weren't wiped out in the Flood, but who still secretly control the world for Satan. It's such a great story!

As for other conspiracy theories, like all the stuff posted above about Bush - I used to care, but now I've given up caring. Maybe I've just gotten old? Maybe it's better to just get yourself a job, make money, get a spouse and make babies. When the unjust war comes, move up here to Canada with me. Or when Satan is elected president, go get yourself some land in Montana and stock up on guns. Take some shooting lessons, learn some karate, learn farming, save the entire Wikipedia to a DVD, build your own wind generator and get a laptop.

But heck, let's just get jobs, make money, get spouses and make babies, and let whatever secret society might or might not be in charge, do their thing, eh?

So what happened to the other ship (the "real" titanic)?

aka 'naga' in India, 'chitahuri' in Africa, 'annunaki' in Sumer, and various other things across other continents & cultures. The physical appearance matches the popular western image of the 'devil'

Although i think those might not be the hybrids your describing, but the originals. They are said to inhabit beyond the normal frequency range* of the human senses, which is why most people never see them. Shamans in modern day South Africa (Credo Mutwa) claim to see them.

* the 'lower-astral' in metaphysical terminology.
