Hi all

I've known about this website since February when I was dianosed with aspergers, its taken me until now to finally get round to posting. The diagnosis hit me very hard before then I had blamed my problems on my family life and childhood which wasn't the best but I couldn't fault the diagnosis it just seemed to fit. This expert I saw said my brain was like PC with too little RAM which seemed a very good way of putting it.

Anyways I'm 32 and live the wakefield area currently not working but have worked in the past, used to work in I.T. (suprise I know). Am curently having therepy and being given a social worker to help me get my life on track again. I currently live with my family which isn't great as we don't get on for various reasons. Well my mother is a manic depressive who is trying to come off valium at the moment and my father is being treated for cancer plus my 2 sisters and a baby live here too so its not the best environment.

Anyways am looking to make contact with like minded people in the UK my email and MSN is

[email protected]

I live in the wakefield area and would even consider traveling to meet people, as I have a car at the moment.

I play alot of World of Warcraft at the moment on the The Venture co realm probably too much lol. That's where the name Mazarbul comes from it's my main character.

Anyways look forward to hearing from you.

Regards

Maz = Joe either will do

Hi Alex thanks for the welcome

I mostly hang out on The Venture Co. realm its a Euro server. My main is called Mazarbul hence my name here.

However I'm also interested in film and current affairs, my friends used to call me Barry Boreman cause of how much I would go on about films and take them apart as most are terrible these days. Except for cheesy horror films which are allowed and are supposed to be bad I guess.

Well, welcome! I do agree with you that movies aren't that great anymore. Although I'm sixteen I've watched some of the old movies and it seems that alot movies these days all become famous by some one liner. I do love tim burton's work on films though. Have you seen any of tim burton's movies?

Hi Tinky

Yeah I am fan of Tim Burton, my fav film of his is Sleepy Hollow but Nightmare before Christmas and Corpse Bride are right up there too. Though Planet of the Apes is a complete stinker and the new Charlie and the chocolate factory isn't as good as the original film, it's not dark enough which is suprising really. Oh nearly forgot to mention Beetleguese which is great too, I think I've seen most of his films not sure if I left one out. He is best when he sticks to American Gothic territory.

He is one of the few directors I look forward to watching when he has a new film out.

i absolutely loved sleepy hollow! I found that charlie and the chocolate factory seemed seemed more realistic than the old one though. This new movie also used alot more guidelines from the book. Big fish was like a fairy tale and I was the young child looking on amazed. Tim burton+danny elfman=yay! Danny elfman's music makes everything seem so mystical. in fact...*plays edward scissorhands theme song*

Hi Tinky

I guess I did forget some of his films after all. I don't like Big Fish as it's about someone who lies. I don't like liers and find it very hard to tell lies myself so I guess I don't identify with the lead characters. And Edward scissor hands I find hard to watch as it's main character is in outsider who all he wants to do is fit in I find it painful to watch as it does not have a happy ending either. Your right about Danny Elfman's music though it's great and seems to match the films perfectly.
