Hi from a newbie

Just wanted to say hello as I'm new here. I'm an NT female and am in a fairly new relationship with an aspie guy. I've been hoovering up whatever info I can find on AS online, via books etc as I want to try to understand things from my guy's pov as much as I can, why he sometimes behaves the way he does, and what I can do to help (or at least not make things worse). This is a really great site and reading what you guys have to say and what some of you have been through has been really interesting. Hope to make some new friends here too and show that not all NTs are idiots

dear Purple Paws, I wish more (all,really) NT's were as understanding, open-minded and just grown up as you. so many of us would have beesn spared so much unhappiness. I hope you and your guy continue to be able to communicate openly...that seems to be a major hurdle for us Aspies. I'm glad you're here, welcome! Sylkat. (who still wonders who has the right to fire Pluto; I think he was a fine planet)
