I'm not entirely sure how I ended up here...the last thing I recall was poking through wikipedia, reading about sidhe legends and such. Kinda glad I wandered in though; the more I read here, the more I want to bang my head on the desk and mutter about stupid school psychologists.
Right. Anyhow. Most people here on the interwebs call me Gryphon, or Saff, and either is fine with me. I'm a girl (if there was any question ;P) an art-geek, and just about old enough to start yelling "hey you kids, get off'a my lawn". Twenty-three, really, but in my mind it's never to soon to start.
I was diagnosed with dyscalculia in the early ninties (technically, "gifted, with a severe math based learning LD") but I've always been left kind of...anticipating more. Like there was something all the doctors and various brain pokers missed. I've got a few reasons, just from kicking around here, that I think I should start looking into Aspergers more, but since this is just a hello post, I won't clutter things up too much.
All that said-hello! I'm an avid RPer, bibliophile of the highest degree, and a crazy cat lady in training. My favorite sports are billiards, swimming, riding, and archery. I'll listen to just about any music avalable (right now, it's Star of the County Down, if that would help), and I prefer to watch smart people TV, like documentaries and crime dramas. I was watching Law & Order before it was cool. ;P I'd like to be a professional art-geek someday, but the prospects aren't looking too good. Being a geeky art teacher, instead, may have to do.
If it's cool, I'd like to hang around a bit and get to know some folk.
