Hi there!

Let's get this out first: I've never been diagnosed, but for the past couple of years I've been pretty sure I have Asperger's.
It's 2:20 in the morning where I am right now and i don't feel like telling my lifestory here (probably not the place to do this anyways), so here are a couple of things about me:
-I am in my first year of uni, studying Liberal Arts and Sciences and wanting to focus on evolutionary biology, quantum physics and health.
-I love to bake. Pies, (cup)cakes and brownies are where it's at :)
-One of my favourite series is Little Britain (hence the nickname).

Okay it's getting very, very late now and my head is a little cloudy. I was just hoping to meet some people here who I can turn to when feeling extremely confused or sad or angry about things related to my presumed autism.

Love from Amsterdam

Hello and welcome to WP! :)

I'd really love to visit the Netherlands - must do this next year. :)

You're right about the pies - mmm! What's your favourite?

Little Britain eh? I trust you've listened to the original BBC Radio 4 series?

All the best. :)

Hi, vickypollard. I lived in the Hague for about a year back in the 70's and would love to go back.

I just discovered this site a few days ago, registered and know very little about how the site works. Since I just walked in, it may not be appropriate for me to be welcoming newbies :hmph: No formal DX for AS yet. Therapists past and present and I have had the discussion a couple of times with no real conclusions. I have been diagnosed bipolar and currently attend a support group. Last week a friend with a counseling background suggested that I might also have AS. So I did some research. Opened a wiki site and saw myself staring back at me. Spooky.

I began reading posts here and feel that I might fit in. "If it walks like a duck, sounds like a duck, and swims like a duck, chances are that it's a duck." (Source unknown). Hopefully, I'll be able to give back as I receive. Welcome anyway :) .

Hey van België :D

I'm not sure whether I have it.. but I have never felt such relief, never felt so at home with some diagnosed people as I do now. I'm so relieved that I'm not some kind of last unicorn. I never felt like I could connect with people, and that gave me a lot of frustration.
I'm hurt at the moment. Well I'm hurt since months already because someone who left me just like that. I talk about it too with someone I've met online. It's great to have people that understand, even if they are living on the other side of this planet.

Hoi, welkom op WrongPlanet dan maar...
hopelijk vind je hier wat je zoekt.

And to continue in English... I like watching English series and Little Brittain was on my list for the next few months. So I hope it is as good as you say.
