hi im an aspie rower and yes olympic style rowing i am a navy brat am im looking for some friends on here maybe if there are some people near by we can meet up. being a navy and finding out in middle school im an aspie has made life hard i know how hard it is for all of us to make friends in the start and how "we" (people with aspergers) are protective of our friends imagine having to leave them out of the blue and haveing to start from square one which square one was so long ago uve almost forgotten how to get above it well thats me every 2 to 3 years ive moved ive had a few friends from where i was
u might think well after u move ull still keep in touch well after 6 months u look back and realize hey all of them wont email me back and u think i would have never done that if my friend left well problem is they arent us. now ill admit ive had a few ghost from the past come back but they are like a city away and they have theyre own life now. last place i was at i finally figured out hey if i leave on a bad note it doesnt matter well it kinda does. although ive gained a few things like im tougher people who have been in one place theyre whole life are like awe that person hates my guts im going to get upset about it ive learned to deal with it and push back. my old boyscout troop wanted me out even my scout master [b] wanted me out i wasnt a bad kid nicest kid u could find but they hated me and that only added a log to the fire when it comes to pushing on. well this is my story want to know more hit me up

Anyway, welcome to this, uh, forum. It's good you're trying, and doing physical activities, and have gotten tougher. Life is hard, though. Just by giving things a go like you are and learning from it, you're probably better off than like 90% of the people you read here on this forum. I wish I could have did rowing as a kid, that probably will make you pretty jacked in a couple of years if you keep at it, and plus, lots of prestigious colleges have rowing teams. So keep at it.
