What are your favorite restaurants to go to on the weekends

When I can afford it (rarely), I like a meal in a nice French restaurant (no silly, modern fad cuisine will ever compare to the traditional French one) - a Coq au Vin with a nice claret. Failing at this, I buy a takeaway - usually Indian but sometimes Chinese.

Welcome to WP, BTW.

Authentic Thai food I like when I'm in a city that has it. Chinese is also good. My hometown restaurant has many good things (lasagna, fried cod, burritos). I also like going to an A&W restaurant for homemade root beer and a burger and fries.
