My name is Briannin Gross. I am a 19 year old woman who was diagnosed this year in August. I have what is labeled as "mild aspergers". I was the first to suspect I had around the time I was 16 or 17. In that time I looked into it and even volunteered at a elementary that specialized in autistic children.

I come to this site often to explore the vast universe that is autism/aspergers and its many relatives. I am proud of my aspergers and believe I have a good understanding of it. Im not so much looking for community personally but I feel like I want to be part of this site.

One of my main interests concerning autism/aspergers is to break various myths and misconceptions. For instance the idea that we lack a good deal of empathy. I am a clear example of how that is not true. Also, in my life i function very well both socially and in other areas.

Nice to see you all, Ill be sticking around for a while.
