I was lucky enough to hear Alex speak in Sulphur Springs, Tx and realized that I had most of the traits he was speaking about. After taking three different tests, it seems that my suspicions have been verified and I am definitely on the spectrum. It has been a little shocking but also healing and I am understanding who I am more every day. I am so glad that this forum exists and I am looking forward to learning more about Aspergers..

Welcome to Wrong Planet! I recently joined myself and find this to be a very welcoming place. Can you enlighten those of us who have not had the pleasaure of hearing Alex speak and describe exactly the "traits" you are referring to? Thanks!

I was at that same conference... I have 2 sons both with autism. My oldest is 14, and my son will be just like Alexin another 10 years... even down to the static on the microphone throwing him for a small loop... Alex was a great speaker... I learned a lot from what he and Temple said, and a lot from what they didn't say...
