Hello...an introduction.

Just wanted to officially say "Hi...um...yeah I'm new here."

I'm a 34 year old guy who is looking around for people to talk to and get to know, and hopefully find more people like me i can relate with. I am the father of two wonderful children (daughter is 7 and son is 6), who are both on the spectrum. (Daughter is diagnosed autistic with speech apraxia, and my son is PDD-NOS with ADHD and ODD) My ex wife has also very recently been diagnosed with ASD, and through seeing them all, i have a sneaking suspicion I'm in the same boat. I have my quirks. I tend to understand things differently than most. I tend to like to sit at home and be introverted than to be out in a crowd. I do have an obsession with computers, but contrary to what my ex thinks, that can be curbed. I do alot better speaking by writing than i do face to face, unless I'm really comfortable with you....in which case I'm actually quite funny (or at least try to be). I speak in metaphors alot, especially when I write. (Did I mention I like writing? i tend to be very creative in that respect)

Well....unless anyone has any more questions about me, i guess that's it in a nutshell. -shrugs-

Depends which one I'm on. Currently on these boards I'm using one of my AcerOne netbooks. I have an E-Machine tower, and Acer Multimedia PC, and my personal desktop...which I built myself. Use that one for my gaming....the others usually for my kids to either click through facebook pics, watch random YouTube videos (alot fo rollercoasters and strange pattern videos they tend to stim off of or get excited by), or play games on NickJr.
