New to Site

Hi.. I am new to the site.. A friend of mine linked me to it.. Anyway, I am a gender-queer 20yr old.. (btw you need more then just male / female gender options) from the states, and I first heard about Aspergers when my mom told me one of my brothers was diagnosed with it, but not to tell him that because he was too young and she didn't want him to know for some reason..

Anyway, when I was about 15 I had a lot of mental health issues going on.. and that is when people started to actually pay attention to all the issues I had been hiding away.. Because I had a very stressful childhood where my parents time was always consumed with other things..

I have been diagnosed with a lot of mental health diagnosis and I have had some that keep swapping around.. For a while I was swapping between PDD (Pervasive developmental disorder) and Aspergers.. And I have also been diagnosed with ADD (not hyperactive / not ADHD)..

So I guess that is a little about me..

If you don't mind me asking, what's gender-queer?
You don't have to answer that if you don't want to.

Gender-queer is an umbrella term for someone who identifies as a gender or no gender that doesn't match the gender assigned at birth.. For example one could be born female and identify as male.. or as a fey.. a non human gender.. Or some use ze as a mix of him/her..
