Hi everyone I'm from the UK I have joined this site and found it from a friend who is diagnosed with Autism/Aspergers'. I was diagnosed with ASD when I was 5 years old and lived a very difficult life throughout childhood, and adulthood too. My diagnosis is different to most ASD people I know because I've got a learning disability called Semantic Pragmatic Disorder (SPD) which means I find communications and socializing very difficult aswell as learning things but that doesn't mean I'm slow at everything. In all my years I have been bullied by non-autistic people and people who also have special needs since I was at a residential school for students who were diagnosed with mental and physical disabilities which also include dyslexics and some of them had CP. I hope to make new friends on this site sorry if this is too much to read I've got a habit of writing long messages hope thats OK.
