Just wanted to introduce myself here. I am a 29 year old mom of 2, as well as a stepmother to 1. I have a 6 year old son recently diagnosed with Asperger's and we are 100% certain that our 4 year old daughter has it too. Since discovering our son has AS, I have self-diagnosed that I have it as well and certain that other family members on my side have it too. My husband is a NT and so is my stepdaughter. I choose to view Asperger's as a gift rather than a disorder, which can be very challenging at times! We as a family know nobody else with AS. We are looking for any advice or suggestions with help available with AS general and also in Canada, specifically Ontario.

I'm fairly new here too, from Ontario (Canada). I was diagnosed this summer, but haven't spent much time looking for info or any available help yet, as I get some of that through councilling which started prior to my DX. From the little I've researched, I would say start with the Aspergers Society of Ontario
The site states that they aim to help parents of Aspergers children, I would expect they can help you find what you're looking for.

Thanks everyone!

@BigBadBrad - I see you are located in Kitchener. I actually take my kids to a Naturopathic Doctor there every few months! How did you receive a diagnosis as an adult? It was a nightmare for us to get our son diagnosed and he has many obvious Asperger traits. Finally we found a pediatrician that knew Aspergers well. I believe I have Asperger's myself but I'm so exhausted trying to get my kids help that I don't bother trying to find a doctor to assess me.
