Hi,
As you can see I am posting in the section where the threads for new people introductions are posted (at least that's where I think I'm now ) . That will probably take you to the inevitable conclusion of me being a new memeber in this site. If you came to that conclusion, you are indeed correct.
I am "New", "newbie", "NooB" etc, etc, etc.

rocklobster reccomended this site to me, which I knew it existed, having two people in my family dignosed in the Autism Spectrum and probably a third one later on, but it was not until I meet rocklobster that I thought about becoming a member here and get to know more people in the Spectrum.
I live in the Iron Range, close to the wilderness in north USA. But I am not from the USA per se.
I am Puerto Rican, born and raised under the Caribbean sun and bathing in the Atlanthic ocean
Listening to salsa music, caribbean rythms, and American music.
Watching Latinamerican movies and telenovelas. Enjoing dubbed American movies, sitcoms and cartoons, also dubbed (or sub)Japanese anime.
NO Spicy food, please, just flavorful and tasty. Prefer food from scratch, althought there are pretty good stuff in nifty packages in the Walmart shelves and fridge sections.
Learning English through movies, tv, at school and in college.
I came to study in USA and met my loving husband

I am looking foward to make some friends and learn a lot.

HEY Soul!!

I was attracted to this particular thread because of the witty title.... it's hard to know where to start when you're new to a forum (my first time on any, for that matter!), and you're naturally confused / overwhelmed by choices (as I'm sure many of us are).

So.... I picked one, and went with it. I've done a lot of reading on Asperger's, trying to understand myself and others, and since I kept being directed to this site by Google, I decided to join.... the loneliness has gotten out of control! I'm excited just signing up, even though I haven't posted or met anyone yet.
