Heya all. Just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm 33 and I was diagnosed with Aspergers about 11 years ago, although it originally made itself know when I was 14. Of course back then Aspergers wasn't well known so they just put it down to me being a bratty teenager. At 18 they diagnosed me with Agoraphobia and Socialphobia which like I said has melded into one neat Apergers ball.
I live with my wonderful partner, who I owe so much too, and my animals (2 cats and 1 dog). I love Sci-Fi (Yay Supernatural), I've been using computer since I was 3 (ahh the good old ZX81) so naturally I'm a huge gamer on console and online. Anyway I'm rambling so I'll just say hi.

I think it's a good idea not to limit yourself to just people who live near you (my geography is awful so I have no idea where Shrewsbury is), you can make online friends and although it's not the same as actually going out and meeting up you still get to chat (and can have quiet time to yourself if you need to).

Do you have any hobbies that could maybe help you meet people local to you (things that may have clubs)? Or maybe volunteering in your community, you may not necessarily make good friends with people but it will get you out the house and conversing with people face to face, but with a purpose so there's less pressure to make conversation.
