Hi everyone!

As you can see I joined WP quite a while back but have not actively contributed anything until now.

About me: I’m a 23-year-old guy living in Bremen, Northern Germany (you may be familiar with the fairy tale “The Town Musicians of Bremen”).
I was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome three and a half years ago. I pretty much figured it out myself after reading about autism and then went to see a specialist.

I have always been interested in the animal world and this year I finally got my dream job. I now work as an animal keeper at an animal shelter located in Brinkum (just outside of Bremen). At the moment our so called “Tierheim Arche Noah” is home to approximately ninety cats, forty dogs, twenty rabbits and three rats (plus several hedgehogs for the winter). In addition to regional work we also cooperate with a shelter in Romania. Former street dogs (there are plenty in Eastern Europe) are transported to Germany where they can find new homes. Adoreable creatures, all of them.

Another interest of mine is the stock market. I am teaching myself about the financial world because I believe it’s important to know how to increase (or at the very least keep) the value of the money you earn. I currently own shares of three German companies.

I also enjoy watching movies. My collection contains over 200 DVDs. I particularly like American sitcoms (“Seinfeld”, “The Big Bang Theory”, “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”).

That should be enough for now. I look forward to getting to know all of you.
English is obviously not my first language, so please excuse any mistakes that might occur.

Hello, and welcome to Wrong Planet! I also like animals, and though I don't actively seek it out I enjoy Big Bang Theory. I don't speak German, but I know a lot of people who do.

i have a cat and from time to time i have other cats that i've found stray and kepp until i find them homes. glad you found a job you like.

Welcome! I just visited Germany for the first time with my husband this summer. I love animals too. ^_^

Greetings and welcome! I'm an animal lover, becoming fond of dogs especially recently from being around my brother's precious shiz-tus. Also have family roots in Germany. Haven't been there yet
Not to mention "The Big Bang Theory" is one of my favorite shows.
