Philly/ South Jersey area Meetup group

Was thinking setting something up for Aspies in the area on the Meetup website since I haven't seen one as of yet for the Area on there and I was thinking lets make it with social activities in mind like maybe Video Games, Anime/Movie screenings, Board/card games (just so you know most of my stuff comes from comic and specialty game shops so allot of it wont be found in your typical toy store). Those are a bunch of quick examples of stuff I would like to do with a meetup group of like minded ppl. So if anyone is within that area thinks this maybe a good idea and would like to try something like this give me a heads up because I want at least 20 ppl on-board before I go and setup the group on meetup.

I certainly have no objections to that! Even though anime, video games etc. don't really appeal to me, the main idea is to meet others

oops forgot to put an age cap but am looking to setup a group for both males and females between 20 and 40 42 is acceptable

There are a couple of groups in the SNJ/PA area I am a member of the Burlington/Camden Aspen Group and a member of the New Horizons group and there are a couple of others in fact last night went to a meetup group in Plymouth Meeting for Aspies in college-unfortunately I am a little older than your age demographic by 7 years but I think you should give it a try. Any other question send me a PM if you want.

I figured I could use this to get ppl together that have those similar interests maybe start with as lil as 15 (if it comes to it less) and dump it up on Meetup and see where it goes from there

20 on board before starting out? not likely anything will happen unless you go to an already established group. I'd suggest either joining an aspie social. If you have car accessibility, you are in luck because there are definitely some that are drivable from you.

My brother would be interested in going. He's in the Wilmington, DE area.
