New, from VT

Hi Everyone :]
I have been seeing therapists for various issues since middle school and have various evolving diagnoses, none of which are particularly important to me. In high school, my best friend had Asperger's, and I saw a lot of myself in him....he, however, had a considerably easier time getting along socially than I did (do)...I have no problems maintaining polite aquaintance relationships with people, but developing actual friendships is a totally different story.
I'm living in Vermont now and have a much better time expressing myself in writing than I do in person or by speaking. Hoping to maybe make some friends here.

Man, I'm from CT, and I thought Vermont was complete heaven for me compared to where I am. But, cool to see more New Englanders here. I don't know, psychs misdiagnosed me like hell, too, diagnosis imo is only good for introspection. I'm DXed NVLD, btw.

But, yeah, I do hope you like it here and find some new information or support.
