Greetings, I'm Vinnie. It's short for Vindictive and is part of the gaming nick I've given myself randomly, based loosely on me bieng a sore loser and the bright and unnatural shade I dye my hair.

I think, or am fairly (85-90%) certain that, I have aspergers. I would have placed myself at not sure, but I've recently discovered my mother considered the possibility I had it, but decided against it because it didn't fit the semi-extreme characteristics she had known about. And then it turns out girls are in general less extreme and more adapted than boys, which are the ones mainly discussed in the 90's when I grew up.

I am trying to get the whole diagnosis thing done, but being terrified of doctors and low on income (student! yay.) it might have to wait, although I am pushing for it as well as I can.

Like my nick states, I consider myself a whovian (i.e. a person who is a great fan of Dr Who), I also watch anime and cartoons, I read (four books done by this christmas) anything I can get my hands on including books, comic books, graphic novels and manga.

So that about sums it up, I hope I manage to avoid upsetting people by accident (which is an annoying trait of mine).

Welcome Vinnie :)

I love Dr. Who. Never referred to myself as a whovian before or even heard of dr who fans being referred to as that. I like it though :D

It's more of something old series Dr Who fans called themselves, the newer generations generally don't know or use it. I'll admit to having started on the 9th doctor, but I've seen quite a bit of 1st and 5th doctor too. (<3 addric with his badge of mathematical excellency)

Ahh. I see.
I've seen a quite few of the older episodes and luckily know a lot thanks to my dad!
However I am thoroughly in love with Mr. Tennant and don't mind a bit of Mr. Smith. hehe.

Hi there,

One of my first memories is hiding from the Daleks behind our sofa ------ this is years ago ( the 60s ! ) Just the theme music used to scare me !

All the best, and don't worry about upsetting people by accident - most people seem v understanding about that kind of thing on WP,

Oh how I stood in awe at the life-size Daleks at Dr Who Experience. I felt like I was five again. Or so I think, I can't remember being five :P

And thanks to all for the warm welcome!

Welcome Whovian. Me too Whovian.
I work with kids, liking them better than adults as they are generally more interested in Dr Who.
