My name is John. I am 23 years old. I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome back in 1996 (when I was 8 years old). I have had a tumultuous life with bullying and bad behavior in elementary and middle school. In high school I was very shy and did not feel comfortable with my age group. I graduated high school in 2006, moving onward to college (on campus living; what a disaster). After a year of depression and loneliness, I started taking classes at a local community college in Information Technology. I completed my Associates degree part time in 3 years (2007-2010). Now, I am almost finished with my Bachelor's degree in IT. I only need 24 credits (8 Classes @ 3 credits each) more. I should be done by this August. I still struggle with anxieties and depression.
My interests include computers (I am walking encyclopedia of Dell Desktop models as old as the Dell Optiplex GX300 (Pentium III Slot 1) to the various Dimension 8xxx series with Pentium 4 processors to the Optiplex 790 with Intel's Latest Core i series).
I also like weather. I have had interest in weather since I was 5 years old. Recently, the obsession with computers has eroded the weather interest (pun intended) due to all the Calculus and Physics needed to obtain the degree.
I am currently living with my parents while I am taking college classes both online and face to face. I help them around the house and take the dog outside to walk and do her business.
