Hi,
I just found this site and went through a few posts and can relate to a few things. (The friends I get on with most are usually on the autistic spectrum too.)
My brother got diagnosed with aspergers but I think I have more traits than him personally. >.> But the soonest time I can get an assessment is May, and I'm not sure if professionals will agree.

*shrugs*

In any case, I think I can relate to some people here so thought I'd join regardless of whether I get diagnosed or not.

Also, a question; what is the score people give out of 200 or something like that for NT and aspergers? Is that a score from a test doctors give or something?

Anyway, just welcome to everyone.

Hi qwan, welcome to WP. :D

I suspect I have Asperger's or Autism, but I have not been officially diagnosed (yet).
My Aspie score was 161 out of 200.
My husband, an NT, got a 66 out of 200.
My co-worker who first thought he may have some Aspie traits actually got a score in the 70's out of 200, so he came up as a likely NT.

I've learned something too - if you ask someone to take the test in front of you, try not to be too sensitive when they laugh at some of the questions that you may have answered yes to. I guess I wasn't prepared for that yesterday, but I tried and pretty much succeeded in remaining cool.

Ugh, the test was wonderfully inconclusive.
I got;

Quote:
Your Aspie score: 110 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 98 of 200
You seem to have both Aspie and neurotypical traits

Doesn't really say anything.

I think most would agree I'm kind on the boarder anyway, maybe that's why I get on with Aspies more. *shrugs*

Thanks for the link.

The big graph doesn't really make that much sense to me. I hate graphs. =.='

Anyway, thanks for the warm welcome guys. \o/
