new here, old everywhere else! I am josh'sdad, Josh is my 19 yearold son with autism, that we have been aware of before he was 2. So I am middle aged in my journey with Josh and I just turned Fifty and was mistaken at my birthday party as my wife's Dad and my 13 year old daughters Granddad. I have quit my job and stepped out on faith(my wife calls it something else) to launch a project of the heart called "joshuahouse" which I will share more inf. about later. I learned along time ago that with the spectrum you learn everyday, and everyday is a GOOD DAY, with some just being exceptionally good days. We have gotten past so many of the familiar traits that I am focusing on getting to know Josh's "comfort zone " and what I can do to better serve his needs in "his space" while in "our space", if that makes sense, and if it don't just ask me more and I will do my best to confuse you more! looking forward to sharing and making new friends here and hopefully helping a few in some small way> Wayne-joshsdad
