I was accepted to the University of Hawaii, but money kept me from going.

Welcome to WP!

Hey Mik, welcome to WP! Hawaii, eh? Damn, I wish I could go there, but I'm stuck in the next best place: NZ!! ! I like to draw, but I suck at anime, but I have made a few decent attempts a few times before!

Videogames? Yeah, I'm addicted to them too. You're talking to the guy who could fit 6 hours of gaming ON A SCHOOL DAY!! ! I'm 16 with AS (which means I feel like I'm 14, lol!), and I like to read as well. Haven't read much, though, but the best books I've read EVER is the Tomorrow Series by John Marsden. It's the most gripping book I've ever read!

So yeah, how is it over there?

Wow, you live in New Zealand? Are you a Maori? I'm a hella bad artist... I usually draw stick figures haha

heh. yeah I spend a lot of time playing videogames, even on school days. i can easily spend my whole weekend playing videogames lol.

Hawaii is okay. my internet friends that came to Hawaii for vacation usually had nothing to do, but they always just go to Kauai though (there really isn't a whole lot there) ...

I'm really not liking the weather atm.. its been really hot and humid for the summer

thanks for the book recommendation.. I'll look out for it

Nah, I'm not Maori, 100% Dutch, but I like Maori placenames! I always entertain my folks by mis-pronouncing Maori placenames in a ridiculously exagerrated Australian accent. For exapmle, I'd say Whakapapa (said like F@#$ a papa) like this: Fack-a-pah-pah!

What video games do you have? I've got a long list of Playstation 2 games, but only a few PC ones. Do you want a list of them?

hahaha.. it's probably even funnier with your accent . its always funny to hear tourists pronounce places wrong like... Kaneohe is Kah-Nay-Oh-Hey but they say Kane-EE-Oh-He or Likelike which is Lee-Kay-Lee-Kay but some of them say Like-Like  .

haha you have a list? ok i'll look at it

I've NEVER sold or traded in a game before. Ever. Just don't want to let any of them go!

Anyway, if you like reading, may I suggest reading the samples of my story in the Writing, Art and Music boards? The topic title will be a dead givaway.

Edit? Oh, crap. Okay, yeah I like Platforming games, as they can be the easiest and yet the most challenging. Monster's Inc was beaten by mistake (I was really, REALLY bored!), but Emporer's New Groove was SOOO cool! It had the best jokes, and it was hitting on itself a lot of the time. Here's some samples:

"Collect the bannanas to Restore Health!"
"Well that's and obvious plot device"

"Where'd you go? I didn't see you since the beginning of the last level!"
"I took a shortcut."
"Yeah, well next time you take one of these shorcuts, do you mind telling me about it?"

"You have to navigate your way down this river, and then face the VISCIOUS alligators!"
"This scene was much shorter in the film."

Laughed out loud for a lot of the game. And I still got it! Another game I really enjoy is Burnout, but I only have it for PSP. Had to borrow the third game on PS2 from a friend. Wanting to get Burnout Revenge for PS3 IF it's released for PS3 IF I get a PS3!

lol thats cool that there are games that are good enough because it's funny

isn't the PS3 incredibly expensive, especially because you live in NZ?

Yeah, it IS the same converted price, so that means it's about $1000 over here. Good thing it got post-poned, otherwise I could'nt afford the games!
