Hey guys! My name's Tim, otherwise known as RockMaster0421, or just RockMaster. I just set up my account a few hours ago and I want to get started here on this website.
As you all have probably guessed, I am diagnosed with Aspergers. Ever since I was a child and to this day, it has left me with a social life that's been.... well... not too exciting. Let's just say that I would seriously like to have A LOT more friends than I do now, and spend A LOT less time alone!
That is not to say that my life so far has been terrible or unbearable in any way. I have been doing considerably well academically; currently studying Philosophy at Marist College in Poughkeepsie. OK, I may not be the brightest student, or even the most hard-working. Hell, there are so many important philosophical works that I should read! But I still find myself to be a somewhat diligent, committed student, and a considerably intelligent person. I'm definitely not a great athlete or anything like that- in fact, I simply don't like most sports (at least the competitive ones). The only serious physical activity that I engage myself in regularly is outdoor runs- but let me tell ya, I seriously love doing it! My other hobbies include bass guitar (hoping to possibly form a hard rock/punk/heavy metal band), video games, and surfing the web. My interests (many of which are on my account page) are rock and roll, random comedy, philosophy and politics (to a certain degree), human rights, MLP:FiM, and just being me. That's basically me in a nutshell. But don't forget the Aspergers part of course!
That all being said, I really can't wait to get started making new friends here on this website specifically for people with Aspergers. My mom recommended it to me, and I've heard good things about these sites in the news. Hopefully I can make a somewhat significant difference in my social life by regularly visiting this website. I will be using the other forums and Wrongplanet services soon.
