....I'm back. Officially.

I'm sure many of you don't know me, but I am one of the "old school" here, and best known for my controversial political views that have cheesed off many of your American members. Its not deliberate, honest :P - its just my style and I can't help it!! Remember, just because I am anti-Zionist doesn't make me a Jew hater!! !!

I left for a while to join another site, but I have become disillusioned, so I am back, and am now looking to make new friends. I was wondering if anyone could briefly explain what the situation is on here now: are there any new rules, any old ones that are no longer in existance, who the new moderators are, etc?

Thanks.

Welcome back to WP!

Are you interested in joining the Church of Vegetarianism?

Tim

The Church of Pepsi wishes to take this opportunity to express that it is willing to provide outreach to you and any others who wishes to not just be baptized in the name of Pepsi, but actually IN Pepsi.

Welcome to WP!

There are four sects of the Church of Garlic. Rubber Ducks, Pie, Vegetarianism, and Chocolatism. You could also join the Church of Tea or the Church of Pepsi. Many new religions have come since you left. A few have already died. The ones that died are the Church of Mustard, Church of Ranch, and Church of Wasabi. They died during the War of the Condiments, which was mainly fought between Garlic and Mustard, the original condiment religions. There was also a Church of Mayonnaise, but it became the Church of Pepsi. Rubber Ducks and Pie started out as independent religions, but joined later. The Church of Rubber Ducks started a war with the Garlicists, but surrendered and became a sect of the Church of Garlic. Pie was intimidated by the Church of Garlic, and became a new sect almost as soon as it was created. I later created two new sects, the Church of Vegetarianism and the Church of Chocolate. You could create your own religion if you wanted. If you do, make it a sect of the Church of Garlic.

Thank you for the warm replies, comrades!! !

I was wondering how many liberals/socialists are on here at the moment, because I consider myself a socialist or a social democrat and I would like to get to know some people of my political outlook! The politics section is full of Republicans LOL!! !

I don't remember ever having a problem with you, hale_bopp! :)

What it was is that I had a problem with several moderators on here because in my view their judgements were biased in favour of more right-wing types. Now that Alex has sacked most of his moderating team (an excellent decision in my view), WP has become much less corupt and I now consider it a suitable place to post on.

Also, please note that several of the ex-mods on here have since joined Intensity after Alex sacked them, and that is really the root cause of my problems on Intensity right now.

I have both feet firmly planted on the left, although I don't think I'm anywhere near socialism.
