I'm really not sure if I have Asperger's or not, so I won't claim that I do. I did take a couple of Internet quizzes and scored very high, but I'm skeptical as to the validity of such things.

About me: I figured out how to read well before I got the hang of tying my shoes (unlike all of the other kids). Today I'm an English major in college. I still love to read and write, and I have some other narrow and obscure interests that may become apparent later.
However, I was never good at interacting with people (I used to have a tendency to be brutally honest and offensive because I thought I was smarter than everyone; nowadays I just keep my mouth shut as much as I can), and now that I'm an adult I'm starting to feel the effects of that. Whatever the deal is with me, I'm just tired of seclusion and anxiety and want some change in my life. Although I tend to enjoy being alone, I'm always stricken with envy of my more socially adept classmates.

So, hello to the people of WrongPlanet. I hope I can get along here. I just don't want to be totally alone anymore. I'm not all doom and gloom though; I'm a cool guy sometimes, really. lol. What do you like to do?

Hi. You seem like a pretty smart guy. I'm about to start my first year studying game design. I like reading - sometimes fiction, sometimes not. I like reading about astronomy, anatomy and physiology and also stories about assassins, aliens and generally heroic characters. I like listening to music, but only if it's Michael Jackson, with a couple of exceptions. I also like playing games that have a good storyline.

I have mild asperger's and I'm not good at socialising face-to-face, so Wrong Planet is very good for me. I hope you enjoy it here as much as I do

Definitely a good chance that you are on the spectrum :3. Doesn't it frustrate you when your classmates are everything you wanna be? I'm tired of working for every. little. ounce of improvement . Why don't you get officially tested?

Indeed hello, newhealth , you will find that most of the time, this site is doom and gloom; so many problems, too little of answers.

I like to... umm, hmm, oh! Blast my Stereo (I would like to be a DJ or a bartender), and I also like the English subject! Unfortunately I do not have a full understanding of it and I would like to write a book (It's been baking inside my head for 6 years and I archived every little bit, this is possible due to AS's amazing ability to analyze, even the smallest of things).
Proper punctuation gets the better of me but I take the cake with spelling.

Congratulations on making it to college! You must've worked/work hard for it! :3
