Hi guys, im from Scotland in a town near Glasgow. Iv has AS, or should i say i was diagnosed when i was 10 or 11, but my mum and dad were told it was borderline, anyway. I grew up trying to fit in, which i believe iv done well with. I completely denied to myself i had AS, because i see myself normal. I forced myself into things i didnt want or like just so i would appear one of the group. But as i got on in life (now 21) i feel like i am missing out, i dont like clubs etc so dont meet loads of people or develop romantic relationships. Iv got my friends who are great but i want........well i dont know. I think im at that stage in life you dont want to fit in and be the normal but be you. So i am reaching out to see whats out there and get more friends!! !! I am animal mad, iv got loads of pets, thats my stress relief looking after them. I work in the community which is great. Im going to stop babbling now. Iv been registered here for ages but never posted because i changed my mind but im now ready for the "change" so to speak.
