Hi, I'm Tross, and I have aspergers. This looks like a great community, so, after I thought about it, I decided to create an account and introduce myself. I've always preferred message boards to sites like Facebook or Twitter, because they not only allow me to connect with people I wouldn't otherwise, but interaction is more on my terms, with no sense of obligation, aside from wanting to keep in touch with any friends I might make on forums, or participate in topics of interest. Message boards also tend to be centered around things that interest me, which is another reason I tend to like them. This is, however, the first time I've joined an online community along these lines.

My interests include Videogames, Sonic SatAM and the Sonic the Hedgehog comic book series by Archie comics, and a little bit of anime and manga(more manga than anime, but they're both casual interests of mine). I also have an interest in human culture, but, as I said before, I prefer social interactions to be on my own terms. In real life, I prefer to have one or two really close friends than a big group of friends, but for whatever reason, I don't have such a limit imposed on how many forum friends I can have. Sometimes I meet people and really hit it off with them this way.

Anyways, it's nice to meet you all, and I hope I'll fit in here.

I never read, or even knew of sonic comics, but I enjoyed the games on the genesis. Only played on the dreamcast a couple times.

I did see a preview of sonic generations. Seemed interesting. If you hadn't heard of it and like the games, you could find it on youtube

Actually, I do really like the Genesis Sonic games. I could never get into the games after they started adding plot, because a lot of the characters I knew from the comics weren't in them, and the ones that were, were often different from the characters I was familiar with. I now know why that is, but I was still never really able to get into them. I never knew about SatAM until a few years ago actually. But, the Genesis games are so simple they could tie into anything. I have been considering picking up Generations. I downloaded Sonic 4, and I can see why people think something's a little off about it.
