Hi!

I first found this forum quite a while ago, but I didn't join because I don't, as far as I know, have aspergers. My brother does, and he likes to suggest that I have it, too. I wouldn't know. I have been diagnosed with Avoidant Personality Disorder, depression, anxiety, OCD, and there may be other things wrong with me. So, I definitely feel like I'm on the wrong planet. I never feel like I belong.

I'll share more later. :)

Well, hello everyone! Thank you for welcoming me. :)

I arrived and I promptly disappeared. I said I would write more and now I am not quite sure what I was going to say. I tend to have trouble in most social situations, and this includes online, too. I used to be able to post to forums, but eventually I lost confidence in myself and I became more and more afraid of others. Perhaps this is because of experiences with rejection. Actually, I'm quite sure that this is the case. Everytime I plan to post now, a little voice says that what I am about to write is not good enough and I shouldn't bother with it at all. No one will care, no one will understand, I'll either be ignored or ridiculed.

So, here it goes again... maybe if I post a little at a time instead of running away altogether. :)

Surely know what You mean! - And thats why it's possible to bee anonymous in here! ;-)
Theres absolutely nothing to be afraid of. We're here to help, and support, each other.
And, personally, i feel that its a great help to have the possibility to read, and edit, before you publish...

But, yet again. - Welcome!! !

:) I don't really know what that entails. I'm the same person in here that I am out there. I will feel everything the same. Maybe I haven't learned what anonymous means. :) Once I pretended to be a monster, and that was fun, because I wasn't myself, so I couldn't get hurt.

Aw, thanks. I'm always afraid. When I come here, sometimes I feel like, since I don't have aspergers or autism I shouldn't post, or I don't belong here. But, everyone keeps saying that I fit right in, so... :)

Thanks for the welcome again. :)

I was the same way, I still might be. I have been a member for about two years now, but I haven't stayed dedicated for similar fears. Not very many people share my opinions about things and I hate to unintentionally upset people in my quest for knowledge. As far as I've seen though, as long as you don't directly insult someone or constantly put yourself down you have very little to worry about. Constructive criticism is rampant, as are insightful, helpful responses.

Welcome to WP... AGAIN!

Thanks everyone for welcoming and helping me to feel like I may just be like the rest of you. ;) Trust me, I feel different so often, that's hard to accomplish. Maybe it's all that seconding and thirding... :P

I know what that's like... I have some pretty eccentric ideas, and through having shared them before with others and been attacked repeatedly, I'm loathe to share again... I didn't realize how easy it was to upset people. Now I try to avoid it, I'd say too avidly.

Uh oh, I'm in trouble, then. I have practically no self esteem or self confidence... but I'll just stay away from conversations that need such things. ;)
