Howdy everybody!

I've got a 5.5-year-old son, D, on the spectrum. He was diagnosed when he was 3, and has been at Fred S. Keller school for preschool and is currently in kindergarten in a separate classroom with one other boy and lots of intensive therapy. We've been very lucky thus far in being able to find resources.

D doesn't really talk - mainly parroting, singing (he loooooves music), and tag phrases - he seems to have a lot of receptive language, but not much in the way of productive. He's very friendly, and smiles a lot.

I came here looking for more info and perspectives.

Thanks, y'all!

I'm mainly going around reading a bunch of posts for now. I will probably have some questions later, b/c of possible changes to my son's education setup.
