I just did a little search for a forum relating to Asperger's and I came across this lovely place.
I'm currently looking into my social issues, sensory hypersensitivity, obsessive interests for the first time and a I strongly believe I have Asperger's syndrome, though I haven't had enough testing to confirm it. I won't classify myself as an aspie until it's confirmed. I've been told it gives the wrong signal.

I'm an 18 year old girl who loves Japanese street fashion, history, science, fashion from 18th and 19th centuries and literature, and I wear classic lolita clothing on what I'd like to be a daily basis. No relation to the Nabokov book or anything disreputable, I always have to clear that one up.

I'm looking for friends, and I have no qualms over internet friendships. If anything, I prefer it.

I'll answer any questions you'll ask, if you have any.

Hello welcome to WP!
my 18 year old nephew loves Japanese style and culture and he speaks it fluently.
I think lolita style clothing is so pretty! I wish I had the means to explore different clothing styles. Its a form of art to me.

I hope you like it here :) its a really nice place.

Does anyone else think it's not a bit mental to have such an interest in a country that is so impossibly difficult to get into for gaijin?
