I'm just curious. I have to learn Mandarin for my job, and am researching more about Chinese culture. It's fascinating, although I assume I find it fascinating simply because it's so different from my home culture of the United States.

While I had in mind mostly those from Mainland China, overseas Chinese are welcome to give me a shout-out.

I take the lack of responses to mean "no?"
