Hi Guys,
My name is Charles and I am best described as high functioning Aspergers. In Australia now we are all classified as Autistic.
I found out about myself when my daughter was diagnosed with Autism, the doctor informally evaluated me at the time, but I didn't seek an official diagnosis until I needed one.
I evaluated my life and noted all the tricks I've learned to deceive the community into thinking I'm "just a bit odd", and I've passed some of these tricks on to some friends at the Aspergers support group I attend. Of course I am happy to share some of my tricks too 
The Aspergers I have has been passed down from my father (I've passed it on to my son as well), and more of my relatives are being diagnosed on a daily basis. There's a very strong genetic link in my family.
