An honor to meet all of you. My gifted skills are Writing, History and Comedy. The comedy raise an eyebrow or but it's quite simple. I'm a sledgehammer in a world of scalpels. I'm blunt and I tell it like I see, no matter what the cost and this combined with my strange similes and metaphors make me quite hilarious. I can easily make crowd roar with laughter but all with Asperger's I have shortcoming in doing well in small groups or one on one. I also write well and love to do it, it seems to be my primary form of releasing anger without heads rolling. I love reading about Mesoamerican and Norse history also.

Long Days and Pleasant Nights to you all

May you have twice the number.

Welcome to Werbert's Planet, sai.

Tinky is random. ShadesOfMe and I are vampires. Bob the Llama is a drunk chipmunk who thinks he's a llama. His new title is Bob teh 1337 Yiffy Banana Llama Priest. He can also be called Bob teh Almighty Dude. There's a radio in werbert's fingernail... CAR!! ! I think that's everything you need to know.

So you know what happened to the maya people 1,100 years ago?

Welcome!

Hi, Fernando

I think it happened because of: War with other tribes, that they were mostly hunters, and not so good at agriculture, and that they stayed in not so fertile lands. So I think that what happened to them was that they extinguished themselves... That's more or less what I remember from art/history class. Add to that that olmecs, toltecs, etc., commonly build buildings OVER existing ones, and that leaves us with less data.

I think fate of Mayans is quite simple. It's like Eric Von Dankeen said "Their gods failed show up on the appointed year and they fell into total anarchy with the failure of the priest upper class."

Somehow a civilization supposedly as advanced as the Mayan one doesn't seem like it would collapse over such a trivial thing. Even if the priestly class killed themselves in a mass suicide, wouldn't there be some people just waiting for the chance to assume power in their place?
