hi,
I'm new. So according to my therapist, I've spent most of my teen & adult life self-medicating with drugs and alcohol in order to cope with the symptoms of aspergers. Now that I've been sober for long, I simply can't ignore this part of me anymore... so it was nice to stumble upon this site. I feel like a child because I never learned anything about this until recently, so I'm starting at square one. I hope I can befriend some people on here eventually, although I've never been good at it.
