Only just discovered this Forum today. I'm a newly-diagnosed Aspie from Portsmouth, Hampshire (UK). Just moved to North Yorkshire - a nice little village called Settle. Just signed up to chat with like-minded individuals in a way that people can (I hope) finally understand and also to get a better understanding of Asperger's on-a-whole from people who share it!

About me:
I'm a Graphic Designer by trade (perfect for an Aspie, what with all the pretty colours, Fonts and strict, repetative guidelines that are begging to be broken lol). I build and repair Computers to make extra cash, I write and produce music (mostly Electronic but used to sing in a band) and am signed to a few Independant Labels.

I'm in to Music (obv.), Movies, Video Games, Comics and Collectables (MAJOR geek!). I like Running, Walking, Cycling and love to get outdoors (when I can).

Thanks! Yeah it's great here. Mobile Phone signal's not all that brilliant, sometimes feels like you're living in the 1970's because of that but all-in-all, dead down to earth and friendly.

Settle's not far from me. I've been there a few times and it's easy enough for me to get to.

What's your favourite fonts? At the moment, I quite like Helvetica and Myriad Pro, amongst others.

Also, your area really does look beautiful, I may take my dogs there in the summer.

Hey Tequila, thanks for sharing those pics. I visit the Naked Man often - great pasties! Took me a while to get over the name though "just visiting the naked man for a bite to eat" etc

As for fonts - I'm really in to DIN, Avant Garde, Proxima and Precious Sans at the moment, big fan of Sans Serifs as you can tell

Definitely a great place to take Dogs. There's some great walks between Settle and Feizor too (a little village about 3 1/2 miles out, across craggy hills and countryside). If you do go to Feizor, visit Elaines Tearooms - nom!
