Hello everyone.

I'm InkyMomo, and I'm 25 and live in Cornwall.

I found this forum when googling women with aspergers syndrome. I'm on a voyage of self discovery. I'm not diagnosed, but my mother seems to think I have some tendencies. My brother is diagnosed, and looking at him I see a lot of myself in him too. I'm wondering if its worth pursing a diagnosis.

Interestingly enough my boyfriend is also diagnosed with Aspergers, yet both he and my brother couldn't be any more different. You can notice the aspergers in both of them fairly easily though.

I realise than my opening post is not the place to dump my life story, so I'll just leave it at that.

So Hi, and thanks for having me.

Hi InkyMomo, welcome to WP.

Wow, there is a lot going on Aspergers-wise in your life! I'm sure you'll find lots of others here who have been on a similar journey of self-discovery.

Hi, and welcome from me. Don't know where you are in Cornwall, but when I lived there until last October I went to a really good monthly support group in Truro. Have you discovered it?

No, I wasn't aware there was one. That would be very helpful I'm sure! I've sent you a PM.

Thanks everyone for your welcoming comments. :) I appreciate them.

Hey, good to see another Brit on the forums :)

It's a shame you live in Cornwall as we are having a meet up for people on the spectrum in London on the 23rd, it's a really friendly and relaxed environment.
